Job Responsibilities
—The space Planner plays a crucial role within the organization, focusing on the programming and test fitting of various projects, including healthcare facilities, workplaces, and laboratories/research environments for potential tenants
—The role involves a blend of design-oriented and analytical tasks to enhance space utilization and meet the specific needs of potential tenants
—Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, tenants and external consultants to define the project scope during the initial phases
—Assist in identifying project requirements and compliance with applicable codes
—Develop test fits and pricing plans that detail high level construction and renovation outcomes
—Process and evaluate internal Real Estate, Space, and Capital Requests as needed
—Support Project Managers and leasing by participating in project meetings and conducting drawing reviews during the Design Development phase
—Engage in continuous professional development to maintain knowledge of industry standards
—Catalog and update drawing records
Requirements
—Five years experience working as an architectural draftsman or CAD Technician.
—The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), an ability to manage and prioritize tasks, leadership skills, superior organization skills, and be goal-driven.
