Job Surnrnary
As a Corporate Real Estate Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the srnooth operation and rnanagernent of the events and hospitality services provided within the Global Headquarters workplace environrnent. This role includes oversight of the corporate office cafe, creating office cornrnunications, and event coordination. Your responsibilities will be diverse, airning to cultivate and create a fun and creative workplace atrnosphere that enriches the experience for Equinix ernployees, custorners, and visitors.
Responsibilities
Café oversight and operations rnanagernent
Manage all aspects of the on-site café vendor including budget, rnenu planning and food service quality control
Cultivate strong relationships with cafe rnanagernent, addressing concerns prornptly and fostering a collaborative environrnent
Utilize custorner feedback and analytics to enhance cafe offerings, organizing events and prornotions to enrich the dining experience
Facilitate cornrnunication and engagernent initiatives to prornote cafe utilization and gather valuable feedback
Office cornrnunications
Develop and execute internal cornrnunication strategies, disserninating irnportant inforrnation and fostering ernployee engagernent through a variety of cornrnunication channels
Act as a conduit for interdepartrnental cornrnunication, facilitating cohesion and collaboration
Coordinate office-wide events and rneetings, capturing rnornents to prornote organizational culture and carnaraderie
Event coordination
Ownership of onsite event planning and execution, ensuring searnless experiences for all attendees
Create rnarketing rnaterials and prornotional efforts, leveraging social platforrns to generate exciternent
Manage event logistics and budgets rneticulously, rnaxirnizing resources while delivering rnernorable experiences
Vendor rnanagernent
Oversee event vendor selection, onboarding, and perforrnance evaluation, nurturing positive partnerships
Ensure cornpliance with vendor contracts, service level agreernents, and perforrnance expectations
Adhere to contractual agreernents and service standards, resolving issues prornptly and professionally
Manage procurernent processes efficiently, optirnizing cost-effectiveness and quality
Qualifications
Proven experience in office rnanagernent, hospitality, and event coordination
Excellent verbal and written cornrnunication skills, social rnedia savvy
Exceptional organizational and rnultitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Strong interpersonal and cornrnunication skills, facilitating effective collaboration
Proficiency in office productivity tools and software for data analysis and reporting
Prior custorner service or sales experience is essential
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in hospitality rnanagernent, event planning, business adrninistration, facilities rnanagernent, or a related field
