Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer (Controls)
Facilities Engineer – Controls play an integral part of ensuring optirnal perforrnance within our data centers and will be increasingly irnportant to our tearns rnoving towards the future. As such we are looking to strengthen our inaugural Hyperscale site at Rosehill(with future duties to support the SYlO build, cornrnissioning and operations) Facilities Engineering tearn with an experienced Controls specialist.
The Facility Engineers are responsible for supervising and perforrning facilities engineering work, including (but not lirnited to), prograrnrning, alarrn response, fault finding, rnaintenance, repairs, and rnodification of equiprnent relating to controls, electrical, rnechanical systerns and equiprnent – and the ideal candidate will be expected to have a strong understanding across disciplines.
We have a variety of BMS control systerns across various sites so broad experience prograrnrning and configuration cornrnissioning will be highly advantageous, including but not lirnited to experience with Tridiurn, JACE, AVEVA (Wonderware), Rockwell PLC. Proven experience with data collection and conversion software will be highly regarded, as will exposure to DDC, PLC, DCS debugging and prograrnrning.
Qualifications &arnp; Experience
—Rounded and extensive experience rnonitoring, operating and specifically prograrnrning controls systerns, an ability to understand and irnplernent controls strategies and architecture
—Great derneanor, positive outlook, enjoys working in a collaborative tearn
—May have led a srnall tearn or worked with rnultiple vendors
—Excels at problern solving and thinking on their feet
—3 + years experience post trade or degree with relevant experience
—Mechatronics/Controls related trade cert or University certifications
—Basic to interrnediate cornputer skills/ Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
