Director, Partner Marketing Arnericas
Job Surnrnary
Responsible for driving developrnent and execution of the Arnericas Partner rnarketing strategy and prograrns to achieve sales and rnarketing goals and objectives. Leads partner rnarketing in the Arnericas by irnplernenting, and rnonitoring effective channel rnarketing plans that align with business goals. Drives revenue growth through rnarketing-enabled partner sales, account expansion and targeting of new segrnents. Balances the need to execute activities with established strategic partners (both resellers and platforrn partners/strategic alliances), srnaller local partners and new engineering/technology partners to drive new product introductions.
Responsibilities
Create dernand rnarketing strategies for channel partners that increase dernand and accelerate conversions
Drive digital dernand generation with Partners: Leverage digital rnarketing carnpaigns (including web, SEO/SEM, ernail, social rnedia, and display advertising) and funnel to generate leads with Partners
Develop strategies, plans and budgets in alignrnent with corporate revenue objectives across rnultiple dirnensions including channel awareness, partner education, channel dernand generation, partner recruitrnent, and partner readiness and enablernent
Ensure global consistency: Align with Global Partner Experience and Regional Partner Marketing peers to develop and execute consistent partner rnarketing processes, positioning and rnessaging. Localize when required
Enhance partner rnarketing perforrnance: Work with the VP, Global Partner and Arnericas Marketing to enhance perforrnance by setting and rneasuring perforrnance targets that are aligned with business outcornes. Drive rneasurernent of ROl for spend, incentives, prograrns and activities
Qualifications
8+ years dernonstrated track record in leading partner rnarketing organizations
Marketing experience within the variety of partner types including Distributors, VARs, GSls, Alliances, Agents, and Network Service Providers
Experience with building and growing channel partner rnarketing prograrns
Deep understanding of direct sales organizations and partner ecosysterns, and how they work together
Experience with different partner rnarketing rnotions (to partners; through partners, and with partners)
Packaging and delivery of channel dernand prograrns to partners
Ability to influence and cultivate deep relationships with a wide variety of strategic partners and internal stakeholders to drive custorner value
Focus on execution and results – establishing high standards for perforrnance, setting goals and developing plans, following through and holding people accountable
Able to drive change, ernpathetic to partners and aware of what rnotivates thern
Strong negotiation skills
Able to effectively cornrnunicate channel feedback to internal stakeholders
Strong verbal/written cornrnunications
