Job Description

As a GIS Specialist on the FP&A team, you will conduct geospatial and quantitative analyses of information which will be used in financial planning, real estate investments, and other departments within the company. Your job duties will include collecting and analyzing financial, market, demographic and geographic data for assigned accounts, product lines, or business units to track the organization’s progress against financial goals. You will report current or expected financial performance and create financial and geospatial models to guide decision making. You will be responsible to provide actionable recommendations through analysis of cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments for financial procedures, plans, and controls.
Primary Responsibilities
—Design, develop, implement, maintain, and support critical projects within the ESRI Enterprise suite of applications including ARC GIS Pro
—Coordinate with Reporting team to implement the required reports and dashboards for business insights
—Conduct research and Geographic analysis to enhance real estate asset and business performance
—Develop, maintain and update spatial databases and ESRI Applications
—Automate data processing and analysis workflows using GIS software and programming tools
—Analyze market trends and property valuations using GIS and financial tools

—Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
—Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environment
—ArcGIS experience required
—Ability to work independently
Education and Experience
—Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university relating to GIS or a GIS minor accompanying a degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or Statistics
—0-2 years of financial modeling and analytical experience
—Experience with Analysis Services preferred
—Experience with Excel
—Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Applications
