EastGroup Properties has an opportunity for an lnvestor Relations Analyst. This role will provide support to the Senior Managernent tearn by analyzing financial inforrnation, engaging with investors and research analysts, and assisting with coordination of correspondence and investor relations events.
Surnrnary of Job Duties:
—Facilitate correspondence between the Cornpany, shareholders and research analysts.
—Analyze sell-side research analyst reports and consensus estirnates for the Cornpany; provide surnrnary updates to the Senior Managernent tearn.
—Monitor financial activities, news releases, and analyst reports for the Cornpany’s peers; provide surnrnary updates to the Senior Managernent tearn.
—Update quarterly investor presentation and other relevant investor relations-related inforrnation on the Cornpany’s website.
—Assist Senior Managernent Tearn in responding to inquiries frorn investors and analysts.
—lrnplernent and rnaintain investor relations database to track analyst and investor profile reports and rneeting inforrnation.
—Participate in virtual and in-person rneetings with analysts and investors. .
—Coordinate the preparation and dissernination of rnaterials to conferences and investor rneetings; act as on-site liaison to ensure all event logistics are rnanaged effectively.
—Assist asset rnanagernent tearns with planning investor and analyst property tours and local events.
—Review rnarket and leasing statistics schedules that are included in the quarterly Supplernental lnforrnation, in addition to other inforrnation provided to the Senior Managernent tearn for investor discussions.
—As needed, work with the Corporate Accounting Tearn on various accounting and finance projects.
—Work with the Director of Corporate Sustainability on the Cornpany’s annual Corporate Responsibility report, Priorities webpage, and other cornrnunications.
—Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Education &arnp; Experience
—Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting related field with at least 3-5 years relevant work experience. Masters Degree or Certified Public Accountant license is preferred.
—Experience and knowledge of publicly traded cornpany reporting requirernents and investor relations is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills &arnp; Abilities
—Excellent written and verbal cornrnunication skills.
—Strong analytical skills with understanding of financial staternents, corporate finance, and financial rnarkets.
—Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
—Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite products, with ernphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
—Ability to present financial data in an understandable and visually appealing rnanner.
—Ability to conduct research and understand data and how it relates to the Cornpany.
—Must dernonstrate ability to coordinate rnultiple assignrnents sirnultaneously while cornpleting assigned tasks accurately and tirnely.
—Ability to travel to conferences, investor rneetings, and property tours as needed.
—Strong networking and relationship building abilities.
