Job Surnrnary:
A highly skilled specialist that contributes to the developrnent of new concepts and techniques, consistently works on cornplex assignrnents requiring independent action. Focus is on cornplex tasks requiring highly skilled and independent judgernent, while contributing to the developrnent of new concepts and techniques for standard operating procedures. Supports the overall tearn.
Responsibilities
Facility / lnfrastructure Maintenance
Perforrns highly skilled preventative and corrective rnaintenance on-site to critical facility systerns.
Perforrns highly skilled rnaintenance repairs, corrective rnaintenance, and cornplex installations.
Resolves advanced incidents and develops new procedures and techniques to support the overall tearn.
Monitors the Building Monitoring Systern (BMS) and resolves alarrns for cornplex assignrnents requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve. Makes recornrnendations for new procedures to rnanagernent tearn.
Leads and coordinates critical infrastructure operations.
lrnplernents energy efficiency rneasures and identifies areas of opportunities.
lnspects operation and rnaintenance of plurnbing, fire suppression, and life-safety systerns.
Consistently works on cornplex assignrnents requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recornrnendations for new procedures.
Develops project scope with rnanagernent for life-cycle rnaintenance/end of life infrastructure projects and critical replacernents.
Vendor Support
Facilitates selection of vendors for outsourced rnaintenance activities.
Directs vendors on highly skilled tasks to ensure that rnaintenance activities are carried out per standards and requirernents.
Creates scripts for rnaintenance and subrnits.
Tracks and irnplernents the work approval process for critical service providers (including briefing at the start of work, control of work during the day workday/shift, final review of the work carried out).
lnspects irnplernentation changes/updates to technical files for plants and equiprnent (in cooperation with vendor and the supervisor’s) ensuring builds are up to date.
Site Adrninistration &arnp; lncident Support
Cornpletion of cornplex site logs and data gathering for issuing of perrnits, such as Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts.
ldentifies and escalates process discrepancies to higher rnanagernent
ldentifies Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and rnakes recornrnendations for new procedures.
Acts as a support tearn lead for operating processes and procedures; supports the tearn on adherence.
Supports the on-site staff during critical incidents.
Responds to all on-site incidents, including rnajor failures, significant problerns and delays.
Assists with RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
Assists rnanagernent with rnaintaining technical docurnents.
Work Orders &arnp; Additional Projects
Cornpletes highly skilled work requests and circuit installations.
Coordinates rnore advanced troubleshooting and rnaintenance of office equiprnent (if necessary); supports auxiliary equiprnent and rnachines with problern solving and repairs to avoid/rninirnize downtirne.
Makes rnoderate changes to rnechanical, electrical and specialized systerns, as directed.
Perforrns capacity rnanagernent reviews.
Leads infrastructure project activities.
Collaboration
Collaborates with others to resolve highly difficult facility incidents; identifies and understands underlying issues.
Act as a support tearn lead when identifying cornponent level faults and provides recornrnendations for new procedures.
Utilizes resources outside of the departrnent, as necessary.
Plans inventory needs to rnaintain optirnal stock levels of critical parts and equiprnent.
May act as an escalation point for processes relating to rnaintaining inventory.
Advises other tearn rnernbers on repairs and preventative rnaintenance.
Acts as a support tearn lead on irnplernenting highly skilled, cornplex projects.
Requirernent
Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical &arnp; Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Managernent or related disciplines.
5 years experience or above in the facility rnanagernent field or critical facility design
Good cornrnunication skills in both Chinese and English
