To meet the needs of our growing portfolio, we are looking for an exceptional Pricing Manager to lead all aspects of NSA’s Pricing program. This individual will partner with the other customer acquisitions leaders, and key data science partners, to drive aligned business goals. This role will lead a team of pricing analysts to continuously optimize the pricing vision and strategy, along with enhancing technology features.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Gain a deep understanding of local storage markets (seasonal trends, property details, new supply and competitive pricing) and monitor portfolio performance to provide consistent recommendations for changes to optimize revenue growth.

Lead the effort in continuing to develop market and store level pricing rules based on key business metrics with the goal of optimizing occupancy and revenue at the right time and place

Listen and leverage the extensive knowledge and experience from team members to help continuously improve standardized processes for the pricing team, both in the day to day review of stores, to the more dynamic needs based on outliers that need more attention on a more frequent basis.

Work extensively with data science to continue building out advanced pricing models that would run alongside the pricing team’s actions, finding the right balance of manual and automation to drive efficiency and improve performance.

Partner with marketing and call center to ensure that channel-based pricing and discounts are optimized, and that pricing and marketing efforts are aligned and synchronized to common goals.

Be a key player in working to enhance our custom platforms. Will recommend larger functionality enhancements with our website and call center platforms to create dynamic pricing and promotion strategies for each channel.
