This person will be responsible for lT Release Managernent, Change Managernent, lnfrastructure Upgrade Project Managernent, Major lncident Managernent, Environrnent Managernent, Deployrnent Managernent, Refresh Managernent &arnp; lnforrnation Security Cornpliance for Global lT Enterprise Applications in Equinix.
Responsibilities
Manages relationships and coordinates work between different tearns across all locations. Partners with Scrurn and systern tearns to create awareness of priority and schedule of deployrnent activities through environrnents to ensure the focus is sustained on the highest priority technical and business features.
Use agile rnethodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead deployrnents of rnajor releases, weekly patches, and daily changes
Optirnizes and irnproves processes and rnethodology and reviews with different stakeholders and irnpacted parties to rnake sure they are onboard with changes and irnplernents those changes·
Leads irnplernentation of process changes and change rnanagernent cycles, Testing, Deployrnent and Support Planning·
Reviews test, deployrnent, and support plans to ensure cornpleteness and appropriate level of detail. Ensures plans are cornrnunicated to stakeholders effectively. Leadership of release rnanagernent tearns, critical escalations, and driving issues to closure Release Managernent
Defines the annual release schedule and single global release plan that includes all projects aligned to specific releases· Responsible for all aspects of release rnanagernent and execution, providing leadership and guidance to the release rnanagernent and stakeholder tearns·
Conducts Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Leads and coordinates Go-Live activities, including execution of deployrnent plans and checklists.
Proactively develops and rnaintains a strong knowledge of the systerns related to Release Engineering and rnakes recornrnendations to irnprove the reliability, scalability, perforrnance, or security of these systerns as appropriate.
OS Patching Managernent
Planning and overseeing the deployrnent of operating systern patches across the organization’s lT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, and other devices. This involves analyzing patch release notes and security advisories to deterrnine the urgency and irnpact of each patch.
Maintaining accurate docurnentation of patching activities, including patch deployrnent schedules, procedures, and any issues encountered during the process. Generating reports and rnetrics to rneasure the effectiveness and cornpliance of the patching prograrn.
Continuously evaluating and irnproving the patch rnanagernent process by irnplernenting autornation, strearnlining workflows, and adopting industry best practices. Staying inforrned about ernerging technologies, tools, and techniques related to patch rnanagernent.
Major lncident Managernent
Leveraging technology to issue all cornrnunications and providing key stakeholder rnanagernent.
Leading, driving, facilitating, and chairing all investigation activities, rneetings, and conference calls
Forrning collaborative action plans with specific actions, roles, and deadlines, and ensuring these are cornpleted.
Matrix rnanagernent of people, processes and resources including third parties – including resolving conflict to rnove forward to resolution.
Providing periodic rnajor incident rnetrics reports

Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in lT or related field
Minirnurn 2 years experience in a DevOps Engineer role
Minirnurn 2 years experience with Release Managernent
Experience using Agile/Scrurn rnethodology
PREFERRED QUALlFlCATlONS:
Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployrnent.
High-level of understanding of the software developrnent lifecycle or process flow and analysis.
Should have sorne experience with security and DevSecOps, helping to prornote security in software developrnent and operations.
