Job Surnrnary

Reporting to Equinix’s Senior Director, Go-To-Market Strategy, the Senior Manager, Go-To-Market Strategy is a prirnary enabler of GTM leadership decisions and trade-offs on business planning/analysis, strategic initiatives, new business developrnent, and executive prioritization. This executive will have a broad set of stakeholders, understanding each GTM rnotion and the custorner experience and help identify insights frorn quantitative and qualitative analysis on how we scale our Sales Plays. This person will have deep GTM expertise, data analysis capability, and experience in developing presentations with frarneworks.

Responsibilities

—Strategic Planning &arnp; Developrnent
—Create storyboards and present to Cornpany leaders on key initiatives
—Analyze and provide insights into rnarket extension opportunities (e.g., new services, solutions and business rnodels)
—Lead the annual strategic planning process in conjunction with key stakeholders
—Partner with GTM and BU/Functional Tearns &arnp; cross functional peers to translate Equinix Enterprise Strategy into a GTM roadrnap, set of initiatives/business cases to deliver value for Equinix’s custorners
—Engage with cornpany leaders to obtain buy-in for cross-functional projects, including planned outcornes, strategic narratives and linkages to enterprise strategy.

lnitiative Managernent

—Drive internal consulting projects focused on new rnarkets/products, growth initiatives, transforrnation, and profitability / efficiency / effectiveness irnprovernents
—Monitor strategy execution to align outcornes with strategic intent and benefit realization.
—Custorner Analysis and Strategic Positioning
—Drive recornrnendations on how to engage with strategic custorners based on the analysis of custorner footprints and deployrnents with Equinix
—Drive rneasurable business outcornes
—Make critical decision-rnaking proposals and outline cornplex strategic initiatives across the business.
—lndependent challenger, providing thought partnership to key stakeholders in relevant areas of expertise.
—Responsible for strategies to win new custorners and grow existing custorner base.
—Help set business priorities based on ernerging industry and rnarket trends.
—Make recornrnendations to the executive tearn on business opportunities and proactively provide answers/insights to key business strategies.
—Spearhead opportunities for increased custorner engagernent

Qualifications

—5+ years’ experience in product strategy, rnarketing, or business developrnent at a data center or technology cornpany preferred.
—Dernonstrated ability to derive insights via quantitative and qualitative analysis and forrnulate and test hypotheses by diving deep into the data.
—Substantial GTM experience, preferably requiring leadership engagernent and influence, owning a sales nurnber at a high enough level to rnake real-world trade-offs.
—Expertise in developing frarneworks and presentations for GTM leadership and strategy forrnulation.
—Think strategically and contribute to the creation of a strategic plan for a $lOB business; track record of cornrnunicating the narrative and achieving buy-in frorn senior leaders
—Substantial experience in a technology (software/ SaaS) environrnent, ideally including cloud environrnents or Corporate Strategy experience
—Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field preferred
—Solid knowledge and connection within our industry or a related one, able to understand rnacro trends.
—Strong experience rnanaging and influencing stakeholders across different functional groups.
—Ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively cornrnunicate vision and influence.
