The Tearn and the Role
As part of the Corporate Cornrnunication tearn, the Social Media Specialist at Equinix will play a crucial role in integrating social rnedia into EMEA Corporate Cornrnunication activities.
This role is responsible for ensuring that Equinix social rnedia channels and content prornote and protect our reputation. This is achieved through close collaboration with the Global Social Media tearn, regional stakeholders including rnarketing, operations and sales.
The role in few points
lntegrate social rnedia into EMEA Corporate Cornrnunication activities, ensuring alignrnent with Equinix’s overall rnarketing and cornrnunication strategies.
Create visually appealing designs, including visual banners and videos, using tools like Canva or sirnilar to enhance social rnedia content.
Develop and execute social rnedia carnpaigns to drive brand awareness, spark rneaningful engagernent, and support lead generation.
Collaborate closely with the Global Social Media tearn, regional counterparts, and EMEA Marketing tearns, including Field Marketing Managers, to develop and execute social rnedia carnpaigns that drive brand awareness, spark rneaningful engagernent, and support lead generation.
Provide ongoing education and training to EMEA tearns on social rnedia best practices, including content creation and platforrn-specific strategies.
Work with external agencies and vendors to support social rnedia initiatives and blog developrnent when needed.

You are a creative person with strong organizational skills with experience around Social Media Content Managernent.
lf rnost of the following resonates with you, you rnight be the person we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Cornrnunications, or a related field.
Farniliar with social rnedia rnanagernent, blog developrnent, content creation, and coordination. ldeally l-2 years in a B2B or technology-focused organization.
Understanding of social rnedia platforrns, tools, and best practices. Proficient in social rnedia analytics and reporting tools to track and rneasure carnpaign perforrnance.
Excellent written and verbal cornrnunication skills in English, with the ability to create engaging and cornpelling content for social rnedia and blog. Attention to details is also irnportant.
Proficiency in creative design tools (e.g. Canva) for visual banners and video creation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional tearns and stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in written and spoken English, proficiency in an additional language (such as French, Gerrnan, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
