Seeking an analyst with robust financial and accounting acumen who is eager to pioneer in a diverse, learning-focused environment!
Realty Income is looking to hire a Senior Financial Research Analyst (Corporate Credit) to support the operational activities including research and credit underwriting, reporting, data/analytical infrastructure, and ad hoc projects. This Phoenix or San Diego based hybrid position will have the opportunity to implement new process including creating operational efficiencies and assisting in generating analytical dashboards and analyzing corporate and store-level financial information. The Senior Analyst plays a key role is the future success of the company by providing proactive research and key insights in support of investment decisions.
Financial Analysis:
—Analyze the financial condition of existing clients in the portfolio and report any key findings to the team.
—Review and digest various corporate historical and present financial conditions; Industry and competition comparisons; S&P CapIQ and Bloomberg data, store-level P&Ls, pro forma projects, cash flow, liquidity, and debt service.
—Productive working in ambiguous setting by ‘triage’ across multiple projects, opportunities, and team simultaneously.
—Provide financial analysis from international financial statements.
—Stay up to date on accounting updates (FASB, IFRS) which impact tenant financial statements and analysis.
Operations
—Provide assistance with overseeing end-to-end credit operations from application intake to seamless data integration, reporting, and documentation. Maintain financials for top clients in the portfolio.
—Assist in monitoring and automating the refresh of proprietary financial models for clients to enable swift review of tenant credits to minimize adverse credit events/portfolio losses.
—Help consolidate and collate in-depth industry data and presentations for wide audience.
—Define processes and platforms to standardize templates for all data, analytics and reporting needs of the credit team.
—Generate, maintain, and publish periodic reports/industry tracking pieces for senior executives.
—Generate and maintain databases of information on our tenants and industries.
—Utilize internal and external data to perform in-depth analysis of Realty Income’s existing portfolio, as well as acquisition candidates.
—Proactively monitors news flow from the department to keep senior executives appraised of all material events or potential risks to RI’s portfolio.
Opportunities to work on ad-hoc projects with senior executives.
What we need from you:
—Experience authoring detailed reports conveying opinion on various companies and industries.
—Extensive knowledge of financial statement analysis.
—Exceptional skills with Excel, in addition to MS Office programs (Outlook, Work, and PowerPoint).
—Enthusiasm for learning about new industries, databases, and concepts.
—It is expected to meet the requirements, a qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on finance, accounting, or in a related field, in addition to 5 years of related work experience, 3 years of experience is a minimum.
—Passionate about data and data analysis.
—Ability to execute in ambiguous situations and take the lead without explicit instruction.
—Attention to detail and work with minimal oversight.
—CPA or CFA designation a plus.

The base salary for this role is in the range of ($67,216 – $108,765). You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
