The Tax Manager will be responsible for fostering relationships across various areas of the Company. This position will work directly with the Controller’s organization to generate necessary documentation for the preparation of tax returns including estimated taxes, state apportionment and other schedules as needed. The position will work collaboratively with cross functional teams to develop tools and processes to efficiently manage compliance costs, cash taxes and general and administrative spend. The primary compliance functions will include interaction with third party operators to review and discuss tax matters related to required tax filings and payments as well as managing third party service providers in the areas of partnership, REIT and taxable REIT subsidiary taxation.
