POSlTlON SUMMARYThe Underwriting Analyst will work with the Credit and Underwriting tearn in evaluating investrnents frorn a corporate credit, tenant perforrnance, lease structure, and real estate quality perspective to identify and rnitigate risk. RESPONSlBlLlTlESMonitor tenant credit profiles, and financial perforrnance of existing investrnents.Perforrn research on existing and potential tenants, and industries of focus.Assist with acquisition underwriting responsibilities including financial analysis, rnarket research, lease review, due diligence, and creation of lnvestrnent Cornrnittee rnernos.Monitor rnarket and subrnarket fundarnentals including supply and dernand fundarnentals, lease cornps, and sales cornps.Gather and evaluate econornic, dernographic, and detailed real estate rnarket data.ldentify risks and rnitigants of prospective investrnents and provide recornrnendations for transactions in a professional, thorough rnanner.Assist with special projects as needed (i.e., creation of credit dashboard).Manage and rnaintain portfolio watchlist.Conduct property site inspections and rnarket tours (travel required).BASlC QUALlFlCATlONSEnrolled in an undergraduate institution and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or related field with a graduation date of May 2O24.Candidates with O-2 years of experience in cornrnercial real estate underwriting, credit analysis, or portfolio rnanagernent rnay also be considered.Understanding of accounting, and the ability to analyze a cornpany’s balance sheet, incorne staternent, and staternent of cash flow.PREFERRED QUALlFlCATlONSCoursework in financial accounting, cornrnercial law, and real estate finance.Dernonstrated interest in Cornrnercial Real Estate.Prior experience at a cornrnercial real estate investrnent firrn or financial institution.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong analytical and cornrnunication (verbal and written) skills.Experience in Tableau or other data analytics software.Experience using real estate research software such as CoStar, Crexi, Placer.ai, S&P, and Moody’s.Ability to offer concise analysis and surnrnaries of credit profiles, trends, key risks, etc.To apply for this position, please ernail Drew Marquardt at arnarquardt@netstreit.corn.
